Right on schedule, the Moto X Pure Edition is now available for pre-order in the US! Pricing begins at $399 for the 16GB version, though the pricing will increase depending on the options you select. If you want 32GB storage it’ll cost $50 extra, the 64GB will come in at $100, and wood or leather backs bring up the price tag another $25. That means the highest price combination would be $525, giving you a Moto X Pure Edition with 64GB storage and a premium back.
For those need a refresher, the Moto X Pure Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 808 with 3GB RAM. Other specs include a 5.7-inch Quad HD LCD display, 16/32/64GB storage, expandable storage up to 128GB, a sizable 3,000mAh battery. You also get a high-end 21MP camera, and a near stock Android build of 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The Moto X Pure Edition is unlocked out of the box and designed to work with all US carriers, including Verizon and Sprint. That means that you can use your phone on virtually any network and move to a different network whenever you wish — regardless of whether it is a GSM or CDMA carrier.
For those that order from the Moto Maker today, you can expect your handset to start shipping around September 17th. What do you think, anyone planning on picking up a Moto X Pure Edition?
